Strengthening Our Presence in the Gas Segment, Sustainably

Fleet Management is proud to welcome four LPG tankers to our clean-fuel fleet. The takeovers mark another milestone in our commitment to enabling sustainable maritime transport.

Three of the newly added Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) are equipped with state-of-the-art dual-fuel engines and boast cargo capacities ranging from 86,000 to 92,000 cubic metres. Designed to carry propane, butane, propylene, and anhydrous ammonia, these vessels feature Type 2G cargo tanks capable of operating at temperatures as low as minus 52 degrees Celsius, ensuring safe and efficient transport of a wide range of liquefied gases.

Modern and Efficient Specifications

The delivery of new vessels includes a next-generation VLGC constructed at a leading Korean shipyard. This vessel integrates advanced dual-fuel propulsion systems delivering over 12,000 kilowatts of output, Tier III NOx-compliant engines, and a suite of energy-saving technologies, including optimised hull design, PBCF propeller fins, LED lighting, and variable-frequency drives. It is also equipped with three reliquefication plants and flexible piping systems, enabling efficient cargo handling and fuelling operations.

Beyond technical excellence, this vessel introduces smart ship innovations such as autonomous navigation capabilities, cyber security readiness, and integrated digital solutions. These features not only enhance safety and reduce emissions but are also expected to lower operating costs by up to 6% annually.
