Shandong Fleet Management Limited, the manager of the bulk carrier, LADY NEETI (IMO 9939357) report that the vessel experienced a fire in the main engine room at FMG Terminal 2, Port Hedland at approximately 08:00 LT 22nd May 2026.

Immediate action was taken to address the situation and ensure the safety of the vessel and our crew. All the crew remain safely on board and no injuries have been reported.

There has been no pollution reported and the situation is being closely monitored.

We are coordinating with relevant authorities, emergency response teams, and medical personnel to ensure a safe and efficient evacuation process.

All the relevant authorities have been informed and are responding. A full investigation to this incident will take place.
