Attracting and retaining talent is essential to our long-term success. We firmly believe in fostering positive societal change. Our array of initiatives reflects this ethos, stretching from leadership roles in industry associations to the courage demonstrated by our seafarers at sea.
Industry Leadership
Our executives actively participate in numerous maritime associations and industry bodies, sharing expertise to help shape the future of shipping. As the maritime industry navigates talent shortages, digital transformation and decarbonization, we are investing in workforce capability for the long term. Through the integration of the International Maritime Institute (IMI), we are strengthening a pipeline of skilled and future-ready maritime professionals. From VR-enabled training to alternative-fuel preparedness, IMI is helping equip the next generation of seafarers for a rapidly evolving industry.
Valour at Sea
Our seafarers consistently uphold the mariners' duty of aiding those in distress at sea, showcasing their courage and expertise in numerous rescue operations. Their efforts have been recognised with prestigious AMVER awards in 2023, honoring their participation in the global search and rescue network. Reinforcing our safety-first mindset, Fleet Management earned the DryBMS badge from RightShip and secured our 13th Outstanding Performance Award in Port State Control from the Hong Kong Marine Department in 2024. These accolades reflect our ongoing dedication to safeguarding lives at sea and contributing to the broader maritime community.
