Aga Nagarajan is the Executive Director for FLEET, responsible for driving the seagoing human capital agenda across all vessels under our management. He leads our global crewing strategy to support the growing needs of our business.
Aga is a dynamic leader who has played a key role in shaping the growth and development of FLEET. Some achievements include leading the establishment of our crew recruitment offices in the Philippines in 1997 and China in 2004. To support seafarers’ emotional wellbeing, he spearheaded the formation of our FLEET CARE department in 2011.
With a career spanning more than 40 years, Aga started his sea-going career in 1976 and sailed on many types of vessels in positions from Cadet to Master Mariner. He joined FLEET in 1997 as the Head of Fleet Personnel department and progressed through our ranks to his current position in 2016.
Aga holds a degree in Nautical Science from the University of Mumbai, India. For his leadership, passion, and commitment to people and their development, he was honoured with the Exemplary Personal Achievement Award by Sailor Today, India in 2018.
