Mr Harry Banga, the Chairman and CEO of the Caravel Group, said,

“When Fleet Management began operations, we had no balance sheet, no track record, and barely any staff. However, our esteemed clients have trusted us with their assets, believed in us as a management team, and perhaps most importantly, shared in the vision we had 25 years ago. Today, our collective vision represents over 500 vessels under management, the careers and dreams of over 20,000 seafarers, and nearly 1,000 staff in our offices.”

Mr Kishore Rajvanshy, Managing Director, Fleet Management Limited, said,

“We started our journey in Japan in 1997. Since then, FLEET has grown steadily into becoming the largest professional manager of Japanese Owned tonnage, managing more than 100 ships on behalf of around 30 distinguished Japanese Owners. Celebrating our 25th Anniversary in Japan is our small way of saying thank you to our customers and patrons. From 1 to 500+ ships across diverse ship types, our journey has been completely organic and driven by the passion of hundreds of shore colleagues and thousands of seafarers. We have learnt from each other, grabbed every opportunity we could, and molded our 25-year success story, step by step.”

FLEET’s final 25th-anniversary celebration is lined up in Hong Kong on 7 November 2019.
