DRILL DRILL DRILL - MT GOLD TRADER II (IMO Number – 9919761)
Fleet Management Limited, the manager of the oil tanker Gold Trader II (IMO 9919761), reports a ruptured hose during cargo operations at Port Klang, Malaysia, at approximately 1700 LT on 14 June 2024. This incident resulted in a spill on the deck and overboard. One crew member sustained an injury and has been safely transferred to hospital and is receiving medical care. The family of the crew have been informed and are being provided with regular updates. Emergency procedures were immediately initiated on board. All the relevant authorities are responding, and all actions have been taken to contain the pollution. The situation is being closely monitored and a full investigation will be conducted.
